Our 50th Anniversary
In 2010 the Lewisham Humanist Group will be celebrating 50 years of activism, freethought, and good old debate. One of the founders, Barbara Smoker, is indeed still one of our most vocal members and president of our group. She is an embodiement of the passion and commitment we share as positive humanists.
In the coming year we hope to continue growing and expanding the group. We are always open to exploring different ways in which we can advocate for the spread of the humanist way of life in the London borough of Lewisham and beyond.
